Women's Health Center of Southern Oregon is pleased to offer our pregnant patients the availability of a prenatal care coordinator. Her job responsibilities include the coordination of patient appointments, referrals to outside resources. These referrals can include smoking cessation or drug abuse counseling, as well as other social services referrals and appointments with other offices.
Our prenatal care coordinator is Cat Wells. Cat has a wealth of experience, having worked as an Registered Nurse in southern California.
While pursuing her nursing degree, Cat worked as a Paramedic in Santa Clara County. She received her Nursing degree in 2000 and then worked as a nurse in Emergency Medicine, Intensive Care, and Critical Care Transport.
She relocated to Southern Oregon in 2008 from the San Francisco Bay area and is excited to work so closely with our pregnant patients.
Cat is an animal lover with one dog, but says she would love to have more! She enjoys Yoga and holds a black belt in Karate.
Cat also heads up our Triage Department.
